FEAT and the "Autism Coalition of Nevada" is proud to announce a series of new monthly parent support meetings!

A FEAT board member and Jan Crandy from ACON are teaming up to host monthly meetings at our new FEAT office starting June 2nd. These meetings will be the first Monday of every month starting at 7:00 p.m.

We will be hosting round table discussions for parents that want to talk, share and get some information. This will be a great way to network with other newly diagnosed families and also speak with parents that have some experience and knowledge. Refreshments and snacks will be provided. * We are sorry that child care is not available at these meetings. However we are still continuing Pump It Up family nights in May and also June. Then In July and August FEAT will be hosting Family fun pool nights at the Henderson Multigenerational pool Center. AutismCares Offers Support Grants for Families in Crisis

AutismCares, an association of leading autism organizations that supports families affected by autism in crisis due to natural disasters or other catastrophic life events, announced its first round of Family Support Awards. The individual grants provide up to $1,500 in financial support for families facing crisis such as the death of a family member, forced relocation, or loss of a job. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis at www.AutismCares.org.
